First radiation treatment today lasted about a minute, and was uneventful. There will be a total of 15, and they will occur each morning at 10:15AM (CST). We were told again today, that often side effects do not manifest until the 3rd week, and then usually mild headaches, sunburns on the skin, and fatigue. Other side effects are less likely.
Dad is still in favor of the radiation direction 95% of the time, but the 5% can be troubling. Monday morning he said: "what are you trying to do keep me out heaven? what kind of business is that?" !! About 5 seconds later the twinkle appears in his eye.
